Antoine Grospiron-Jaccoux (1971) lives and works in Chamonix, Paris and North America. A lover of mountains, Antoine became a correspondent and editorial writer for ski and mountaineering magazines. During that time, he developed his own artistic and poetic vision, vividly inspired by his North American travels. In a world moving faster each day, he finds photography to be an extraordinary tool to reveal the fragility of the passing of time. In this digital era of pixels, he remains faithful to the quality and slow motion of print film. Sensitive, nostalgic, and often surprising, he treats photography as a poetic expression of natural landscapes. In combining the stillness of these images with the fluidity of writing, his words and prints unite to reveal the lyrical strength of the present.
